A collection of Germander's cousins:
Speedwells

Above left: the ubiquitous Common Field Speedwell, and right: the less common Blue Water Speedwell
Above and below: Wall Speedwell, found at Surrey Docks Farm.
This plant can vary enormously in size depending on situation; the above example, growing in a crack between paving, was only about 1cm tall, whereas that in the lower right was a single tall spike raising itself above a patch of basil.
Above and right: Thyme-leaved Speedwell, from a colony found in poor gravelly soil at Surrey Docks Farm.
Left and above:
Heath Speedwell, found in Queens Wood, Highgate.
Above: Ivy-leaved Speedwell - found everywhere, but never normally appreciated at this scale.
